What are we created for?

The Westminster Shorter Catechism A.D. 1647

Question. What is the chief end of man?
Answer. Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.
And also…
Question. What is the chief end of GOD?
Answer.  Chief end of God is to glorify Himself by enjoying Himself forever.
